All about Apple iPhone 4

As anticipated a few hours ago, the keynote of Steve Jobs has opened its Worldwide Developer Conference 2010 that, as usual, was held in San Francisco. The intervention was the CEO of Apple, as usual, much awaited by the media and press as they awaited the presentation of 4 new smartphone iPhone, then what they have done.
Apple iPhone 4: Specifications
IPhone 4G HD or not then, but simply iPhone 4. We start by size equal to 115.2 x 58.6 x 9.3 mm and weighs 137 grams. The material used is steel for the profile of the device and aluminosilicate glass for the display and back cover. The combination of the two materials gives a greater resistance to scratches and, as regards the steel, as well as act as a support structure for greater rigidity, performs the function of transmitting antenna to the internal components.
The display (called the retina) is new compared to the past, is built with IPS technology (In-Plane Switching), has a diagonal of 3.5 ‘and a resolution of 960×640 pixels, exactly twice the 3GS.
The processor used is the same dell’iPad or the A4, developed by Apple. There are only two pieces of memory available, 16GB and 32GB. Common features are the presence of accelerometers (already present on previous versions), a gyroscope, two microphones useful for reducing background noise and the inevitable GPS module.
Connectivity is comprehensive with support to:
* UMTS / HSDPA / HSUPA (850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz)
* GSM / EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz)
* 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi (802.11n only 2.4 GHz)
* Bluetooth wireless technology 2.1 + EDR
Even the cameras have been improved, there are two, with the front VGA resolution and can only be used for video calling (Face Time) and back, with a resolution of 5 MP, 5X digital zoom and LED flash, capable of recording HD video at 720p. The front camera should be noted that, at least for now, the video call is allowed only between 4 and only iPhone using the Wi-Fi.
4 uses the new iPhone operating system that OS4, henceforth, is called IOS 4, there are many improvements introduced by the new release, among them include:
* 5x digital zoom
* Multitasking
* Organization Folders
* Support wireless keyboard
* Support for the advertising platform IAD.
The first countries where the iPhone will be introduced four are: USA, France, Germany, Japan and the United Kingdom, the phase of pre-orders will begin June 15 and the first deliveries will take place June 24.
The second block of countries, including Italy, will see the marketing of the new smartphone from end of July. The prices at the time, were not disclosed, if not for the U.S. market, the partners for the two-year subscription is still AT & T and the prices are equal to 199 and $ 299 depending on the version.
